ART DIRECTION FOR COLART INTERNATIONAL LTD.
2015 - 2018
VIDEO
Loved by project:
The Colart 'loved by' video series was created out of the desire to show that art materials are used by a huge range of industries. We spent months looking for people from diverse industries who really used Colart brands to be creative or plan their creativity.
We created films with: artists, a fashion designer, an architect, a storyboard artist for motion pictures, and a make-up artist.
Teaser video featuring Kelly Anna (artist), Graeme Black (creative director), Gordon Cheung (artist) and Stewart Parvin (couturier):
Video of artist Gordon Cheung who creates his paintings in a really unique way. This video is particularly special to me as I had worked with Gordon in a previous role at Griffin Gallery and I am a huge fan of his work.

Showcasing all the Colart brand products together. This photograph showcased hero products from all of the Colart brands together for the first time.
Photography for website, created on a white background to allow for adaptability:
Utilising items from the archives of Colart's historic brands, photography that illustrates the heritage of each brand. Pictured here Reeves (founded 1766) and Lefranc Bourgeois (founded 1720), pictured above the heritage photography for Winsor & Newton (founded 1832).
An imagined historical yet contemporary artist's paintbox seen from a birds eye view. This series of photographs also illustrates the history of the Colart brands whilst showcasing their most popular products at the time. These images were used for digital marketing, communication materials and at trade shows.
Art direction for photography of one of Colart's factories in France, where vibrant artist's pigments are used on an industrial scale.
These photographs showcase the beauty of how art materials are manufactured.
